Allison K. Flexer
Allison, a reformed workaholic, is relying on God’s grace each day as she seeks his purpose for her life. After spending over a decade in the corporate world, she quit her VP-level job to take a sabbatical. During that time, she rediscovered her passion for writing. Allison is now pursuing her dream of freelance writing and editing. Utilizing her background as a CPA, she also works part-time as a financial consultant.
Allison is a contributing member of The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network and a graduate of She Speaks. Her articles can be seen in the Wesleyan Publishing House periodical, VISTA: Journal for Holy Living, and on Crosswalk.com. Allison was a contributing writer for Devotional Ventures © 2006, published by Regal Books.
Allison has a passion for encouraging single women in their faith. Currently, she is writing a book designed to combat the lies that single women believe about themselves. A graduate of Belmont University, Allison makes her home in Nashville, Tennessee.
When she is not writing, Allison loves to have deep conversations with friends over great sushi, spoil her two beautiful little nieces, and pretend like she’s a runner.
